மருவுக மாசற்றார் கேண்மைஒன்று ஈத்தும்
ஒருவுக ஒப்பிலார் நட்பு

Have friendship of faultless people, deny friendship
of inappropriate people even by giving

Vizhiyappan's Commentary: Have the friendship of those who are faultless in thought, by losing anything! Abandon the friendship of those who do not agree in good ethics, by giving anything!

Accept the leadership of those who are uninterested in corruption, by denying the freebie! Reject the leadership of those who do not have desire in democracy, even by giving donation!
