"Man/Woman" relationship - an analysis (Part 1)

          Any relationship that is based on the two-distincts called "Man/Woman" is always troublesome. Probably, there can be no relationship in which a woman do not criticise like "his spouse has not fulfilled (m)any of her expectations". It can be "Love/Marriage/Illegal-affair" - but such criticism will remain consistent. Though it is a wrong relationship, the reason for including illegal-affair is that it is still a relationship. People who have robbery as their profession, when joint together to make a combined effort - they still need to pursue the "Professional Ethics". They should NOT cheat each other and they should NOT rob other's properties. It is same with the illegal-affair too.

      The criticisms like aforementioned are mainly based on "the expectation of love from the respective spouse". Further, everyone is aware of the common-sense that "men cannot express love"; and there is a fact in it. This write-up is a sincere attempt to analyse that aspect. It is well known that man do express love before entering into a relationship, probably more than a woman do. However, after having entered into the relationship - he either fails to express his love or he could not really express it. I used to say very often that, after entering into the relationship,  a man do approach love based on sex. Probably, many men do not even know that there is a love behind "that" sex.

        Very definitely, this is nature! That said, this write-up is not to justify the act of men. Rather, I am trying to understand as what can be the reason for a man to deviate from the love he had with his woman. There are some cases, where this deviation occur due to an affair with another woman or similar such reasons. They are in a different category allotter; I do not consider any of those categories in this analysis. This is entirely based on the men who naturally get deviated from the love. As aforementioned, such men do express their love through sex. So, in my opinion, the reason for not directly expressing the love is that men do move towards the next step/stage of the...

         relationship. If it is love, men tend to plan the marriage and family. If it is marriage, men will attempt to execute their thoughts. Further, they need to think ahead concerning having children and their growth. Even if it is an illegal-affair, he tends to think about the effect of such affair. He cannot  easily overcome it since the situation will remind him even if he forgets; that is what an illegal-affair is, which has to be kept secret. And the bitter truth is men are poor in defending the secrets; many will not try to defend it. That is why a woman could easily make the man to blather whatever secret he may have. So, he will always be in a fear with pressure, and many men could not handle it.

         Moreover, majority of men will approach such affairs as a drainage to their sexual feelings. But, the can easily woman approach it like the normal relationship. So, whatever may be the case, men do not have such comfort as the women do. I am not pretty sure if this is correct or incorrect - but that's how it is. I do not mean that women do not think about the lateral stages of a relationship; even the  last generation women had such thought process. But, the men around them (not necessarily a lover/husband - it can be even father/brother and so on) do make sure that women are kept away from such struggles. So, in my view, it is the situation that keeps the men to be "non expressive".

If one ask like "will it not last ever?"

It will, definitely! And every man's life will end so!!

Oh my "Innocents"

       Two days ago, one more innocent youngster has lost his life by setting fire on himself - just because of some selfish people who conduct dirty politics, based on the emotions called - "Tamil and Tamilians". Like the one set fire on himself during the issue of "Tamil Eelam", another incident has happened. The true worrying factor is the following: These parties claim that they fight for "Tamil and Tamilians". Often, the dramas they stage are based mainly on 2 issues - "Tamil Eelam" and "Cauvery Water Dispute", which actually affects the Tamilians live outside Tamilandu (TN). But, their do lead to death of Tamilains in TN itself. I do agree that such incidents are triggered by the other political parties as well, but they are based on the issues happening inside TN.

       In my opinion, I consider the following two political parties as more dangerous: 1. A political party that is 23 years old, which is based on "Tamil and Tamilians". Its leader has walked out of another party and created his own; but, he is even unable to find a different name for his party, which resembles more to his parent-party. 2. The other party is just 2 / 3 years old, which is also based on the same "Tamil and Tamilians" factors. Its leader has at least named his party a different name from other parties. However, he is more emotional oriented and he claims himself that he is doing "Revolution", which is totally unnecessary and unrelated with the current situation in TN. Based on the negative impact he makes on the youngsters - the second one is more dangerous than the first.

       The only common thing between these both is - Mr. Prabakaran (founder and leader of LTTE). Most of the small crowd who are behind these parties are the "true followers" of Mr. Prabakarn. However, these two leaders are actually insulting the great Mr. Prabakarn, by doing such a dirty politics. While they claim others as "Traitors", I tend to think that they are the actual traitors. Let them at least do something good for the Srilankan Tamilians (as refugees) in TN; not even the Tamilians in Srilanka. If they really want to fight for the Tamilians who are affected outside TN, they should go there and fight - that is an apt way. Okay, let us leave out "Tamil Eelam" issue; because they may quote Visa and other related issues as hindrance - and that is acceptable too.

      But, what stops them from reaching Bangalore and fight for the Tamilians who are struggling there? There can be no busses; but, they do have sophisticated cars those are presented by the global Tamilians. If they do not have money to fuel the vehicle, we can fund them. What is the use of "dramatical dialogues" they shout on the stages in TN? That drama is too okay if it ends up in something useful. But, only the innocents like aforementioned are loosing their lives as the result. How cruel it is? Are these deaths are "untruthful" to the Tamil and Tamilians? After how many more such deaths, they will change their approach? I have the following queries to such politicians:

• Let them not even fight against the people who trouble the Tamilians outside TN. They could at least go there and discuss with the government officials there; can't they? Why they deny to do so?
• I am not disagreeing with the fact that such things will be more effective when it is done by the ruling party. But instead of giving free advice - to do this and that, to the ruling party - can't  they actually go there and do it themselves?
• It is not acceptable that if they say like - one need the ruling and authority - to do such things; as a leader of any political party, any one could discuss with the officials there.
• The opposition leader is complaining that the TN chief minister is just making requests by writing letters; I completely agree with it. But again, instead of telling to do this and that - why cant 't they do it themselves? As an opposition party, they too have the rights to fight for people of TN; isn't it?
• All the oppositions claim that the speaker of state assembly is not neutral and so they walk out; I too agree with it. But, who can control the politicians from opposition parties from going to Bangalore and discuss the issues?
• I am sure it is going to remain like this forever as I have mentioned in the yesterday's writeup. As the current opposition party men say often, it is true that - "The ruling will change! But, not the scenes!!". Like the bilingual movie - only the characters of the actors will change (Ruling/Opposition) - but the story will remain same.

        I do not think that there it is correct to criticise the politicians; at least the current politicians. Let them not do the good to anywhere near our expectations. Like I said yesterday, let them at least make sure that no "Common Innocent People" is affected. Or at the least extent, let them make sure that they take care of their "Innocent Followers". For that, they should avoid delivering such "emotional speeches". Even today, the leader of that 23 year old party accuse the Karnataka government without any evidence (like he did with the opposition parties during last TN assembly election). He continued to claim that TN will become like "Ethiopia". Do he, by nay chance, "indirectly" refer that if the politicians like him are not eliminated - TN will become so?

      Let them keep continuing their dirty politics in the same manner - let it be their choice. Oh my innocent followers behind them! Even in a family - emotion and domination - will not do any good! In fact, the increasing number of divorces - prove just that. If that is the case, how come - emotion/domination/revolution - will help doing good in a country's politics? Let those leaders do not realise it forever; neither their life nor their family is going to affected because of their faults. So, at least - you, the followers! please realise this fact and then follow them. I have no rights to say to not to follow them; but, I do have the rights to ask you to be careful. Try to remember...

any one among your - "Parents/Wife-Kids/Siblings/Friends/Relatives";

and avoid such stupid "emotional acts"!!!

My view in "Cauvery Water Dispute"

       "As usual" - the issue on "Cauvery Water Dispute" is going on right now. The reason to highlight the word "As usual" is not just because it has become regular; but also due to the fact that it is becoming normal. Both the public and politicians have started approaching it casually. I doubt if this issue is really unsolvable. As some suggests, is it true that - the state and central governments do not want to solve the issues like this? Or else, is it like only when both the state governments are directly ruled by the "same national party" that is ruling the central - will these issues be solved? There is no point in claiming, on paper, that "all the Indians are brothers and sisters". If we really do have such feeling from the bottom of our heart, this is the situation where we need to...

       stand up and show that feeling towards others. Contrarily, we are attacking each other in an "indecent manner"; how come this can be called as "Brotherhood"? Who give this authority to one to attack the other? We cannot single out any state as which does this; apparently, people from both the states do this - and there can be no difference of opinion on this fact. We cannot look into the percentage of crime! There is no "Minor/Major" in error; an error is error. There is nothing to argue on the "useless protests" organised by the political parties from both states. Those protests clearly show their inability, which has become their routine as well. It is apparent that, other than this, they cannot do anything useful. They do think that politics is their job - and probably...

          they do their job correct! So, there is nothing much to discuss about them or their acts. But - we cannot accept the fact that "common innocent people" are affected. We cannot justify this stupidity by saying like it is an "emotional burst". Though it is apparent that "only small mob" from both states do this; my question is - can't these governments, at least, make sure that these things do not happen? It is neither happening for the first time nor it is going to be the last. It is happening regularly; if we want to make sure that these things do not happen again...

• No one, who is doing this nonsense, should be left freely. The punishment should be very vigourous. Both these states, and/or any state where such things happens, should create such laws as soon as possible.
• If these things could not be stopped, it may mean that the government has "indirect" agreement behind such incidents. If that is the case, the government itself can exhaust the people from others states. Further, they can also create laws to make sure that people from other states do not enter into their states.
• If the people stay in their respective states, then no "common innocent man" will be affected during such issues. When a nation is dreaming about "becoming super power" - this kind of "barbarian acts" should not be allowed at any cost.

         My intention is not that these states should grow enmity between them! Like every one, my expectation is also that they should stay united. But, if being united is not possible for any reason, let them not mingle together as well. If they do not mingle, they will not get affected as well. What is the issue here? One state need to release water to its neighbour. It is like a family member seeking help from the siblings. If we are all brothers and sisters - seeking help becomes ethical; and so does the other to deny it. When it is denied, the other can even forcefully seek the help; but still, it should be avoided in a suitable way. When this is not solved amicably, the family head called "Supreme Court" enters in to the issue. So, by any means, this is like an issue in a family. 

        So - seeking/giving/denying - becomes every one's right. However, all these should be done in  the form of casual discussion/debate. It can never become an attack between - even by small mobs from each side; and it should never be justified! Specially, when "common innocent man" is affected. At least, hereafter - the concerned governments should sit together and make a permanent solution. There is no point in getting relaxed, and carrying over like it is done each time in the past. And the political parties should not try to keep this politics alive forever. That is why the educated/youngsters are urged to enter into politics. We should eliminate these aged politicians and their parties. If we keep on longing, expecting that they will do good - it shows nothing but our inability. 

We should start showing our opposition - at least in this manner!!!

Sukanya Samridhi Account

      Many of you may be aware of Central Government's "Sukanya Samridhi Account" - a savings scheme that was launched on 22nd January 2015. Couple of days back, it has been launched in Tamilnadu and Pondicherry, and many are struggling to get the right information/clarification concerning this scheme. In this connection, there was a "Live" program on "Thanthi TV" - a Satellite Tamil channel on 28th March at 15:00 hours IST, in which the Chennai region's Postmaster General Mr. Mervin Alexander was answering various questions/doubts. I thought that writing an article based on the information/clarification I have gathered, would be useful to many. I was/am very cautious in NOT misleading on any information/clarification given here; but, still... if there is any, by chance, it may be because of the fact that I did not understand it well. Please let me know if there is any so. 

Conditions/ Criteria:

• Sukanya Samridhi Account (SSA) savings scheme is essentially for a girl child, and only one account can be opened in the credit of a particular girl child. If there are more than one account found on a particular child, it may lead to legal actions. However, I do not have enough details on the legal actions.
• Only 2 girl children are eligible per family to get benefited from this scheme. However, if the 2nd pregnancy has delivered twin or multiple girl-children, they are eligible to get benefitted along with the 1st girl child, if applicable. But, if the twin/multiple girl children are born in the 1st pregnancy, the girl(s) born in the next or consequence pregnancies becomes ineligible.
• The SSA can be opened with a minimum of 1000 INR per account/per year; and the maximum limit is 1,50,000 INR per account/per year. The year related with SSA is the "Financial Year", which means from April-March. As today is 29th March, the current financial year will end in 2 days, and if one wants, any amount (even the maximum) can be deposited for the 1st year within these 2 days.
• Maximum deposition period is 14 years and then the amount can be kept in the account for 7 years to get complete maturity of the scheme. This means the total life-span of SSA scheme is 21 years. But, the account can be closed at any time if necessary but the maturity/returns will differ accordingly. 
• There is no condition on how much should be paid for a year, and also there is no fixed amount to be followed for all the 14 years. It can be vary from year to year; and the only condition is that it cannot exceed a maximum amount of 1,50,000 INR per account per year. Deposits can be made either in lump-sum or in 12 installments
• The amount can be paid for the maximum of 14 years from the date of opening SSA or until the girl is got married, whichever comes first. After the completion of 14 years deposition or getting married, no more deposition will be possible.
• In the case of the girl getting married, only further deposit will not be possible; but, the deposit can be kept alive for the remaining years to get the complete maturity depending on the deposited amount. 
• If for any reason, one or more years are passed without any deposit after opening the SSA, the account can be brought to alive by paying 50 INR per year. Personally, I am against this penalty that is very feeble; it may make the people a bit more careless. Anyway, it is my personal opinion.

Eligibility:

• A girl child with the age from just-born to less than 10 completed years (on the day of opening SSA) are eligible under SSA scheme. However, as a launching-year promotion, one more year is allowed as far as the upper age limit is concerned. According to this, a girl child who is not exceeding 11 completed years of age on/before 2nd December 2015 can be eligible for this scheme. It seems, at least for now, that this relaxation will not be applicable from next year.

Benefits/Maturity:

• All the amount deposited to this scheme are exempted from tax payments. Further information can be obtained from Department of Tax.
• If 14 years are completed with a maximum deposit of 1,50,000 INR per year, plus 7 years of keeping the account alive; the total maturity is understood to be 79,00,000 INR. That is after completing 21 years from the date of opening SSA.
• Any deposit below the maximum per year will have the total maturity in proportional to the amount paid.
• Before the actual completion of 21 years, 50 % of the amount can be availed for either higher education of the marriage of the girl. However, it was not explained if this 50 % is exactly half of the total-maturity amount.

Opening and maintaining SSA?:

• Either Parents/Natural guardians/Legal guardians of the girl child are only eligible to open SSA on the credit of a particular girl child. A passport-size photograph and any document like AADHAR card holding the address proof of "Parents/Natural guardians/Legal guardians" are needed to open SSA. It seems some post-office branches are asking for the photograph of the child, which is not mandatory.
• Once the account is opened, any one can make deposit to it.
• Once the girl having SSA completed 10 years, she can go to post-office and deposit the amount by signing herself. 
• After 18 years, it will become mandatory that the girl handles and maintains the SSA by herself. Also on completing 18 years, the photo and address proof the girl should be submitted, which is mandatory. 

Where to apply?:

• For now, SSA can be opened ONLY by applying at post offices including a branch office. However, at later stage the facilities will be made to open this account through banks and/or by online. More details will be available in later stages.
• The same is applied to topping the account; means, for now, it can be done ONLY at post offices. However, other facilities like online payments will be made available at later stages.

Male child:

• If one wonders, why NOT for male child? - there is already a scheme named "Public Provident Fund (PPF)" that is for male children or by other means uni-sex. The only difference is that SSA gives an interest of 9.1 % against 8.7 % in PPF. This 0.4 % of interest is because that they are girl children, which are precious for any country.

What is Human-Interaction?

      As mentioned in the Introduction to kick-starting this English Blog, the photo given above is the one that I have received in one of my Whatsapp groups. I could have debated this write-up there but I wanted to post it up as a write-up in my Tamil Blog and then share the link there. I think that it was a wise decision as it has realised my long term planning of writing a blog in English. Well, let us come to the topic. As mentioned in the photo above, there is no doubt that people nowadays are more into their smart-phones than talking (underline "talking") with whom they are with; in fact, we ourselves should have done it, at least once! I accept that it is happening; but, I do not accept that it is what the speculated Einstein's quote "I fear the day that technology will surpass our human interaction. The word will have a generation of idiots" actually reflects. 

        As this is my first post, I have sent the first draft to my friend for proof-correction. He has asked me verify if this was actually quoted by Einstein. What a surprise? When I googled it, I came to know that it is one of 7 famous "Fake" quotes. You can find more information on this in google. That is the reason I mentioned it as a "speculated" Einstein's quote in the above paragraph. Anyway, I still wanted to publish this write-up and exchange my thought-process with you all. In the first place, I could never accept the get-togethers or meetings with friends/known circles/any relationship as a "Human Interaction". If speaking/communicating with the persons around one is described as "Human Interation"; then what those in the above photo do using the technology (with others) should also be called as Human-interaction; isn't it? 

      Just because they are communicating through Whatsapp/Facebook using their smart-phones (technology), we cannot say that human-interaction is surpassed. Imagine one of the groups in the photo is working for the same company/organisation in the same department/section and at essentially same level. Now, please tell me "Will they interact and discuss their ideas to help each other growing?". Your answer would be a Big No, isn't it? Because, we never disclose our ideas with others who are working with us. We always discuss something else. I would not say that this is wrong as each one of us would/should think about our survival first. So, it can be nothing but a common discussion on entertainments/sports/politics or similar ones. If one can term this as "Human Interaction", why the ones in the photos are accused that they are not interacting with humans. 

        Probably, they may be even sharing their love with their close ones, which I would say is greater than any other common topics referred above. Hence, my disagreement with the photo is that "it is not Human Interaction at all". Then, this question may arise to you as it did to myself: "What is Human Interaction?" is what that question and that is obvious. To me, interaction is something that involves the exchange of knowledge/experience and contributes to the society/small community. And that should happen even with unknown people! The aim or definition of the interaction should be towards contributing to social or personal development. It is not about sitting in beach, eating/drinking in a bar, or other entertainments. There is really nothing to interact with the known circle; that is why I have used the word "talking" earlier and asked to underline it. 

     It is nothing but a communication or an entertainment. Imagine this example for a human interaction: I used to see many people working in our agricultural fields for various jobs. I used to interact with them and learn many information including very small ones; I used to interact with them and work along with them although it is only very few minutes. And they have had good interaction between themselves as well and exchanged their knowledge on developing agriculture yields, best products and so on. Then, the technology and its development came into picture starting with "Tractor"; imagine what? technology has eliminated slowly but steadily all those employees and the jobs! More interestingly, the "interaction" between the humans was totally destroyed. All those who worked/interacted together in an agricultural field have become single nucleus in various places.

       They have lost even a "communication" between them. Now, we have equipments to do almost everything on an agricultural field - right from seeding to cultivation! This is the best example I can give. To add more, technology development has eliminated the "student-teacher" interaction. It has eliminated the interaction  (physical meetings) between management and employees. Now, files are being transferred through gadgets - "files do not carry/show human emotions/interactions". Imagine the recent incident in Alabama State, USA; it is apparent that the cop did not know how to interact with an "unknown common" man. He is not trained for that; all those machine guns and atom-bombs have influenced him and others just a fear! Is it that cop's fault or not?. A county that calls itself as "world's superpower" invest so much on developing nuclear/biological bombs. 

      Do you want any more shameful example than such investment? People DO NOT EVEN want to interact with humans in a "Battle Field" and just want to destroy the humans with technological advancements. We just do not think about these shameful surpasses of human-interaction! But, we just take funny photos on common and innocent people and say they surpass human-interaction! If that is the case, please do not forget that it is the same technology (smart phone) that brought together so many friends/relatives who were lost in touch for so long! If one can term this as human-interaction, then we should realise that it is the same technology that gave you back the "interaction" with your friends/relatives. But, still I would not call it as "interaction" but would call just as a communication. I certainly believe that my understandings would make you agree with.

Let us first understand what is human-interaction!!!     

Note: Though it is a speculated Einstein's quote, as an iota of a physicist, I am very happy to get this opportunity to post a write-up based on this quote. Above all, I am very satisfied that this English blog of mine has kick-started with such a write-up.
