We all might have received from some one and wished someone like "Many more happy returns!". I wished my wife today (03rd August) like "Wish you many more happy returns!". I was just wondering what actually people mean while saying "Many"more happy returns! What exactly does "Many" mean here? Can it be infinite? No... every one will realise that it is impractical. Can it be 5/10 counts more? Again, no... every one will think that it is TOO Less no matter what the age is. So, how "many" is an apt count?! I kept on thinking to find an answer at least in the case of my wife.
Yes, I am not sure about others! But, in my wife's case, I have realised as follows considering that she is a dedicated & sincere. I wished her that she should live AT LEAST until our daughter say something like "Maa! It's enough. You have been enough here. I cannot tolerate anymore to see you are still being here and struggling to look after me!". So, I wished my wife to see at least "THOSE Many" more happy returns of this golden day. Now, it is up to you. If not directly, at least within yourself, assume the number of returns you want to wish some one on a special day to them.
So, let us be specific in "HOW" many returns!!!
