giving & living with fame
Vizhiyappan's Commentary: There is no greater renumeration for human being, than
the two factors of giving others and living with fame.

0232. உரைப்பார் உரைப்பவை எல்லாம் இரப்பார்க்கொன்று
Vizhiyappan's Commentary: All appreciations conveyed by the appreciators, for
giving the requirements to those who ask, will become as permanent reputation for
the givers.
All claims as spiritualities by the theists, for teaching the humanity to those who
seek, will become as birth-benefit for the teachers.
0233. ஒன்றா உலகத்து உயர்ந்த புகழல்லால்
பொன்றாது நிற்பதொன் றில்
In this peerless world, nothing can
permanently exist like reputation

exist without decay, like the magnificent reputation.

0234. நிலவரை நீள்புகழ் ஆற்றின் புலவரைப்
போற்றாது புத்தேள் உலகு
Heaven won't praise Gods, if everlasting
reputations established on earth
Vizhiyappan's Commentary: If people do deeds to establish the everlasting
reputations on earth, "world of God (heaven)" will praise such people instead of
praising the Gods.

0235. நத்தம்போல் கேடும் உளதாகும் சாக்காடும்
வித்தகர்க் கல்லால் அரிது
It's impossible for non-experts, to exist
like conch without body
Vizhiyappan's Commentary: Other than the expert people, who do the reputed
deeds; it is impossible for the rest, to live forever after loosing the body - like conch.
the rest, to be valued after breaking the relationship - like ivory.
0236. தோன்றின் புகழொடு தோன்றுக அஃதிலார்
தோன்றலின் தோன்றாமை நன்று
If appeared, appear with fame; better
the rest don’t appear
Vizhiyappan's Commentary: If appeared on the stage called world, one should have
the courage to convert the birth as reputed! The birth of those who could not convert
so, is equivalent to not appeared.
friendship as understandable! The friendship of those who could not make so, is on
par to not bonded.

இகழ்வாரை நோவது எவன்
Those don't live with fame should blame selves;
why blaming the critics?
Vizhiyappan's Commentary: Those who do not live with fame, should only blame
themselves! What is the reason in blaming the people who criticize them?
What is the justice in punishing the opponents who criticize them?

எச்சம் பெறாஅ விடின்
Blame for human beings is, not leaving
the fame after death

failure to leave the stable fame, after their lifetime.

and ultimately beneficial, by bearing the body of those who live without renown.
