ஒறுத்தாரை ஒன்றாக வையாரே வைப்பர்
பொறுத்தாரைப் பொன்போற் பொதிந்து

Smart people ignore the "impatient punishers";
preserve "forbearing persons" as gold

Vizhiyappan's Commentary: The smart people do not bother those who impatiently punish others' mistakes; will preserve the forbearing persons as gold.

The disciplined people do not insult those who inhumanly approach others' hardships; will praise the kind persons as supreme-power.
