ஒழுக்கத்தின் எய்துவர் மேன்மை இழுக்கத்தின் 
எய்துவர் எய்தாப் பழி

Discipline gives distinction; indiscipline gives blame
that shouldn't be attained

Vizhiyappan's Commentary: One will obtain distinction by possessing discipline; but, being indiscipline gives the blame that should not be attained.
