தோட்கப் படாத செவி

The ear that isn’t pierced by listening, is
considered deaf even it hears

Vizhiyappan's Commentary: Ears of those who could not develop the listening-knowledge by the investment called listening, are felt as inaudible ears though they have capacity to hear.

Brain of those who could not harvest the rational by the agriculture called thought-process, is equivalent to the dead-brain though it is in operating condition.
