புண்என்று உணரப் படும்

Clemency is jewel for eye; if that isn't,
it will be perceived as wound

Vizhiyappan's Commentary: The real jewel that adorn the eyes is the clemency called humane; if there is not that clemency, eyes will be perceived as wound.
