Chapter 025: Benignity (Vizhiyappan's Translation)

0241.  அருட்செல்வம் செல்வத்துள் செல்வம் பொருட்செல்வம்
           பூரியார் கண்ணும் உள

           As even stingy people possess objects,
           primary of wealths is grace

           Vizhiyappan's Commentary: As even the stingy people possess the temporary
           happiness of "wealth of objects", the permanent happiness of "wealth of grace"
           is the primary of wealths.

           As even the weaker people have the fake strength of "character of anger", the
           original strength of "character of patience" is the greatest of characters.

0242.  நல்லாற்றால் நாடி அருளாள்க பல்லாற்றால்

           தேரினும் அஃதே துணை

           Follow ethics & have grace; analysis of ethics

           reveal grace as magnificent

           Vizhiyappan's Commentary: One should have grace by following the good ethics;
           analysis of various religious ethics, will reveal that grace is the magnificent.

           One should maintain the relationship by realizing the righteous lifestyle; analyzing
           various lifestyles, will reveal that relationship is the strength.

0243.  அருள்சேர்ந்த நெஞ்சினார்க் கில்லை இருள்சேர்ந்த
           இன்னா உலகம் புகல்

           It’s impossible for gracious people to
           enter darkened evil world

           Vizhiyappan's Commentary: It is impossible for those who are submissive to
           affection with grace filled heart, to enter the world that is dark with distressing
           situations (Hell).

           It is impossible for the media that fear for ethics and report the news with integrity, to
           participate in the business competition that involves unethical medias.

0244.  மன்னுயிர் ஓம்பி அருளாள்வார்க்கு இல்லென்ப
           தன்னுயிர் அஞ்சும் வினை

           No life threatening incidents for who share
           humane & cherish lives on earth

           Vizhiyappan's Commentary: The kind people, who share humane and cherish all
           living beings on the earth, won't face any life threatening incidents.

           The sincere politicians, who establish justice and protect all citizens of the nation,
           won't have any alliances those lead them to defeat.

0245.  அல்லல் அருளாள்வார்க்கு இல்லை வளிவழங்கும்
           மல்லன்மா ஞாலங் கரி

           Wide-world, activated by air, evidences that
           kindhearted have no hardships

           Vizhiyappan's Commentary: The wide world that is alive because of air, with great
           resources, is the evidence that the gracious people do not face hardships.

           The great family that is developed by the ancestors, with successful life, prove that
           the family with good leader do not fail.

0246.  பொருள்நீங்கிப் பொச்சாந்தார் என்பர் அருள்நீங்கி
           அல்லவை செய்தொழுகு வார்

           Those avoid ethics & forget birth-benefits, will
           detach grace & do evil

           Vizhiyappan's Commentary: Those who avoid the ethical things and forgot the
           benefit of birth, will detach the good ethics called grace and live by doing evil.

(Likewise...)

           Those who do not apply the sixth sense and do not realize the humane, will forget
           the good character called sharing and live by deceiving others.

0247.  அருளில்லார்க்கு அவ்வுலகம் இல்லை பொருளில்லார்க்கு
           இவ்வுலகம் இல்லாகி யாங்கு

           As this world isn't for poor, that
           world isn't for ungracious

           Vizhiyappan's Commentary: People who do not have wealth, do not have greatness
           on earth! Likewise, people who do not have grace, would not have greatness on
           heaven.

(Likewise...)

           Those who do not have work, do not have value at home! Similarly, those who do
           not do public-work, would not have value in the society.

0248.  பொருளற்றார் பூப்பர் ஒருகால் அருளற்றார்
           அற்றார்மற் றாதல் அரிது

           Those aren’t wealthy may earn later! Those
           aren’t grace can hardly revert!

           Vizhiyappan's Commentary: Those who do not have wealth, may have a chance to
           earn it later and feel happy! Those who do not have grace, aren’t only; it is hard to
           revert back!

           Those who do not have education, may have a chance to learn it through night
           school and read! Those who could not think, couldn’t only; they can hardly become
           expertise!

0249.  தெருளாதான் மெய்ப்பொருள் கண்டற்றால் தேரின்
           அருளாதான் செய்யும் அறம்

           Ethical acts of ungracious is like illiterates
           understanding the textbooks

           Vizhiyappan's Commentary: If we analyse the ethical acts of ungracious people, it
           will be clear that such acts are like the illiterates understanding the true meaning of
           textbooks.

           If we analyse the political moves of who don't have public welfare, it will be
           understood that it is like untrained people driving the fighter-aircrafts during war.

0250.  வலியார்முன் தன்னை நினைக்கதான் தன்னின்
           மெலியார்மேல் செல்லு மிடத்து

           While we mortify weakest people, we should
           think us against strongest

           Vizhiyappan's Commentary: While we mortify the weakest people, without the grace
           feeling; we should think our situation against the strongest people.

           While we suppress our subordinates, without realizing the humane; we should think
           our situation in front of our manager.
