அறிவினுள் எல்லாந் தலையென்ப தீய
செறுவார்க்கும் செய்யா விடல்

Primary of wisdom is not doing
evil deeds, even mutually

Vizhiyappan's Commentary: The primary of all forms of wisdom is the rational of not doing evil deeds to others, even as mutual.

Vizhiyappan's Commentary: Evil people will not fear to do the evil deeds, which gives absurd happiness; but, the people with high qualities will fear to do such things.

People who are used to corruptions will not shy to do corruption, which gives greedy; but, the people who love public welfare will shy to do corruptions.

           Everyone will contempt those speak bootless,
           which disliked by majority

           Vizhiyappan's Commentary: Everyone will contempt the people who speak bootless
           words those are disliked by the majority.

           The society will asperse those who live improper life that is opposed by the family
           members.

0192.  பயனில பல்லார்முன் சொல்லல் நயனில
           நட்டார்கண் செய்தலின் தீது

           Speaking bootless before others is evil
           than doing unethical to friends

           Vizhiyappan's Commentary: Speaking bootless words in front of others is more evil
           than doing unethical deeds to friends.

           Behaving indecently in a public place is more shameful than doing undisciplined acts
           in family.

0193.  நயனிலன் என்பது சொல்லும் பயனில
           பாரித் துரைக்கும் உரை

           Detailed bootless speech will imply that
           one don't follow ethics

           Vizhiyappan's Commentary: A detailed speech on things those are bootless will itself
           imply that one do not follow the ethics.

           not possess integrity.

0194.  நயன்சாரா நன்மையின் நீக்கும் பயன்சாராப்
           பண்பில்சொல் பல்லா ரகத்து

           Speaking bootless before others will withdraw
           one from virtuous benefits

           Vizhiyappan's Commentary: Speaking bootless and non courtesy words in front of
           others will withdraw one from the benefits based on virtue.

           Developing inhumane and non sincere youngsters in many constituents will destroy
           a nation from the unity secured by friendliness.

0195.  சீர்மை சிறப்பொடு நீங்கும் பயனில
           நீர்மை யுடையார் சொலின்

           Prominence & uniqueness of great man will 
           diminish on speaking bootless

           Vizhiyappan's Commentary: The prominence and uniqueness of great man who
           have the best characters will be diminished, when they speak bootless words.

           The designation and regime of those who have conquered many constituents will be
           eliminated, when they formulate projects without public welfare.

0196.  பயனில்சொல் பாராட்டு வானை மகன்எனல்
           மக்கட் பதடி யெனல்

           It's right to call those speak bootless
           as chaff among people

           Vizhiyappan's Commentary: It is right to call those, who have the habit of speaking
           bootless words, as chaff among the people rather than calling as human.

           It is appropriate to call those, who have the custom of ruling without public welfare,
           as evil among the rulers rather than calling as leader.

0197.  நயனில சொல்லினுஞ் சொல்லுக சான்றோர்
           பயனில சொல்லாமை நன்று

           Scholars can speak unethical; it's beneficial,
           if not speaking bootless

           Vizhiyappan's Commentary: The scholars can even speak unethical things; but, it is
           beneficial if they do not speak bootless words.

           The spiritual-gurus can even say impossible things; but, it is good if they do not say
           things those did not happen.

0198.  அரும்பயன் ஆயும் அறிவினார் சொல்லார்
           பெரும்பயன் இல்லாத சொல்

           Wise people who analyze great benefits
           won't speak unworthy words

           Vizhiyappan's Commentary: Those who have wisdom to analyze the great benefits
           will not speak the words, which are not more useful.

           Those who have desire to follow the best leaders will not support the people, who do
           not seed deep humanity.

0199.  பொருள்தீர்ந்த பொச்சாந்தும் சொல்லார் மருள்தீர்ந்த
           மாசறு காட்சி யவர்

           Rationalists, who eliminated ignorance, won't speak
           bootless even by oblivion

           Vizhiyappan's Commentary: The determinate rationalists who have eliminated the
           turmoil called darkness, will not speak bootless even by oblivion.

           The noble gentleman who have subtracted the ferocity called brutality, will not do
           dishonest deeds at any situation.
